Viral Energies is on a mission to bring professionals a safe, reliable, and convenient alternative to the charging station. Founded in 2020, we bring electric vehicle charging directly to commercial customers at a competitive market rate and fair subscription fee.

Our fleet meets all safety compliance requirements and features the latest and greatest fueling and GPS technology.

We currently serve the Greater Mid-South Area, including Memphis, Bartlett, Cordova, Collierville, Germantown, Millington, Olive Branch, Southaven, West Memphis, and nearby zip codes.

Our Founder

From finance to fuel, our founder Joseph Long made the leap into entrepreneurship with Viral Energies. He has a background in financial services, and spent years working with equity and fixed income capital markets.

As an MBA student at Columbia Business School, the seed for Viral Energies was planted. Less than a year later, he got the concept off the ground by bootstrapping it. With the faith of investors, he purchased his equipment, completed testing, and secured licensing on his own.

Joseph could have taken Viral Energies anywhere. But he chose to bring it to his hometown of Memphis — a city eager for innovation. He’s pushing the envelope and expanding a community’s understanding of convenience.
